Posting daily to socials can feel like a full-time job—but it doesn’t have to be. Batching your social media content means creating a week (or even a month!) of graphics in one sitting, saving you time, stress, and last-minute scrambling. And yes, you can totally do this inside Canva—even if you’ve never used it before.
Start by logging into www.canva.com. In the search bar at the top, type in the kind of content you want to make—like “Instagram Post,” “Facebook Post,” or “Pinterest Pin.” These templates are already sized perfectly for the platform you choose. Click on one to open up a blank canvas or browse through Canva’s suggested layouts to find one that fits your vibe.
Once you're inside the editor, look to the toolbar on the left. Click Templates to explore pre-designed layouts, or start adding your own elements. Use the Text tab to add captions, quotes, sale announcements—whatever your content needs. You can change colors and fonts by clicking on the element, then using the toolbar at the top. Want to use your brand’s exact colors? Click the color square and enter your HEX codes!
Here’s the real batching trick: Instead of making just one post, click the “+ Add Page” button below your canvas. This creates another slide—basically, a new post in the same file. Keep adding new pages until you’ve got all your content made for the week or month. You can go back later and tweak each one individually before downloading them all at once!
To make it even easier, Diesel Designs offers Editable Canva Templates that are already sized, branded, and ready to fill in. You can create 10+ posts in a fraction of the time by plugging your info into our pre-made promo graphics, quote layouts, and sale announcements. Perfect if your brand leans bold, spooky, alt, or witchy 👻✨
Once you’re done batching, hit the Share button in the top right and choose Download. Select “All Pages” and download them as PNGs or JPGs. Then upload your new graphics to your favorite scheduler (like Meta Planner, Later, or Canva’s built-in content planner!) and enjoy a week or month of peace knowing your posts are DONE. ✔️
Bonus Tip: Use the Duplicate Page button to reuse layouts for different content—like weekly promos, tips, or product features. Just swap the words and photos! Your feed stays consistent, and your life gets way easier.
By batching content and using tools like Diesel Designs' editable Canva kits, you’re not just saving time—you’re staying consistent, staying visible, and building a brand your audience won’t forget.
